Audio Design
Music For Games
Back in 2012, Owen Harris invited me to create music for a computer game he was developing with his studio at the time, bitSmith Games. The project was called Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan, and that moment kicked off my journey into audio design, game music, and interactive digital experiences. Since then, I’ve studied composition for games and moving image and worked across a range of projects, including DEEP VR, The Shape Of Us, Dino Ghost, Colour Them Alll, and SCROLLQUEST 2.0.
The Shape Of US
A VR journey that brings you closer to Nature. You’ll use your whole body on the way – prepare to stretch, crawl, rest, dance, feel!
Based on the mono myth of the Hero’s Journey and inspired by indigenous ceremony design, The Shape Of Us offers a deep dive into our assumptions and attitudes towards our role as humans on Planet Earth. Its main game mechanics are body motion and interactive storytelling as well as conscious moments of intention setting and stillness.
The players are guided through the wastelands of human civilization, ventured into the Unknown and rewarded with a sense of one-ness and community. A mindful On-boarding and Off-boarding leading in and out of the journey can be downloaded for free on the website as well as a variety of educational content for teachers and workshop hosts in the fields of VR and climate psychology.

Bounty Hunter
This track was made for a game called Bounty Hunter in collaboration with Owen Harris and artist Tom Moore. It was for a competition for the website Boing Boing and was all made in about week. All very low-fi. Think I made it using reaper cause that’s all my crappy laptop would run at the time

SCROLLQUEST 2.0
HACK-N-SLASH YOUR WAY PAST REJECTION SENSITIVY
Rejection Sensitivity has been defined as “the disposition to anxiously expect, readily perceive, and overreact to rejection”. It can lead individuals to spiral into a vicious cycle of aggressive or withdrawn behaviors, ultimately leading to the emergence of serious mental health problems like depression.
The unique design challenge of ScrollQuest 2.0 was to create a more engaging and distinctive rejection experience than the widely-used, standardized task to assess rejection and isolation: Cyberball.
Pre/post game interviews, in game analytics and proctored observations provide the research institute with measures of behavioural and emotional responses to the rejection episodes, responses that are not assessed in Cyberball.
Various RAW SFX sounds made using an Electromagnetic Field Microphone and editing it in both Unity and Ableton.
Dino Ghost
This track is a good few years old. Again it was made for a computer game collaboration with Owen Harris and Tom Moore, this time we made a game in 1 working day (YES ONE FUCKING DAY!!!). It was called Dino Ghost. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) it is not available anywhere on line. But some of the game art survives at least.
Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan
These tracks was made for the computer game Ku: Shroud of the Morrigan, which was made by bitSmith Games.

This track was written for a puzzle game called colour them all that was made by Mélissa Goudjil. It seems to be no longer available.
