My 12 year old just made a game based on Iron Lung (he clarified to this old man that the movie is based on a game, but his game is more based on the film, also using ai to help with the code). Satisfying play with Germetric Resonance this morning using some audio recorded for @exploredeep_vr at The Meadow by @riantrench and featuring the Sonic Wizardry of myself, @diarmuid_macdiarmada & @ed_devane Solo Amoon show tomorrow night at gem beag anseo with @zeropunktband . I've reworked some amoon compositions around a solo set using the ko ii sampler as the backbone. It's been a lot of fun and keeps the mind focused. Some golden oldies and some fresh ones. Rehearsing for a few upcoming gigs. TWO things here that I'm happy about in 2025. A bit of screen capture of me working away on unity adjusting the various "panic wave" events. The main body of work on Deep @exploredeep_vr this year has been focusing on developing our "panic waves". Though Deep is a vr experience based on breathing and relaxation, it was decided that for the current scientific study, they wanted a more stress inducing aspect, so as to test the breathing skills in a more challenging set of circumstances. Hence the "panic wave". It's been an intense creative experience, best served in bite size cortisol filled chunks. Really really looking forward to playing with @secret_sonic_cinematheque this weekend with the usual suspects @diarmuid_macdiarmada & @glotchbot Great time was has this weekend playing shows under the guise of Vestigial Head and Biological Speculation. Thanks to @posterfishpromotions and @phasereset for Saturday night. Lots of faces from many moons ago. The Head was pleased. Steve on sound and Æ on lights being legends as always. Andy will be checking some heads with VH at this show in April, and his old friend Ed @phasereset will be playing too!
